Panel: Border and Migration between China & Southeast

Convened by Long Xiaoyan and Wang Yueping from Yunnan University’s School of Ethnology and Sociology, this panel focuses on connectivity between China and Southeast Asia, both through long-running geographic, ethnic, and migratory ties and also examines connectivity through modern means and phenomenon like tourism, transnational investment and trade, and the impact of covid-19.
